New Hope Missionary Baptist Church has a rich history of ministry and leadership. Founded in 1881 by Rev. JL Flowers, New Hope Missionary celebrates God's Word daily and come together every 3rd Sunday to Worship as one.
Under the guidance of Rev. Horace Montfort Jr., we shall continue the mission as one of the cornerstone of the Upson and Talbot County communities.
Rev. Montfort was installed as Pastor and his wife, Betty Montfort was installed as First Lady February 19, 2012.
Rev. Montfort preached his first sermon at Welcome Grove Baptist Church. He is dedicated to the teaching of God's Word and continuing his studies with Liberty University School of Religion. Rev. Montfort and the First Lady have embraced this little old church over there at the crossroads.
